Mark pushed the magic button last night and my new site is up and running this morning!

We're still working on it, so as I write there are still several pages under construction and many more to be added (like the whole shop!)- but the good news is that I'll be able to offer pdf files as downloads...and a whole lot more, so do keep checking back.

Drop me a line and let me know what you think. If you're looking at it in Internet Explorer, you might want to try another browser like firefox. It doesn't accept all the code and what I saw this morning were lots of bold blue squares I did not add!

So it's not perfect...

yikes!

My present website is going down in less than 3 days and I've been totally absorbed this past month in building it's replacement.  It's been a blast to create from blank computer screens and it occurs to me that it's  not unlike painting on a blank canvas or- hey- creating a sweater from balls of yarn.

There's also a fair amount of pressure, too.  It's my hope to create a bigger and better website with more ordering options- things like downloadable pdf's-- but I know it won't happen overnight.  My goal for now is to make the switch with a visually pleasing beginning.  You may find some  "coming soon... messages", but the main structure should be up and going by Monday morning, March 31st.

Online ordering will take some time to work through, though, so please drop me a line with what you'd like to see go up first.

so many things to knit...

WOW! Has it really been that long since I've written?

So many things to knit, so little time to write...

Been doing lots of felted easter baskets lately... Here's a pic of one from the class we had recently. This one was done by Delores Chambers. The pattern is a Wildflower design; a smaller version of my Felted Easter Basket.

I'm also working on new designs- more on that later...

And I've been busy working on a new website - learning xhtml and css and is it ever exciting to realize I can build my site this way. I am really jazzed- with the help and counseling of good friend, Mark Desmet, and many dinners to come later, we should have it ready by the end of March.
